Gigiri is the tightest rental submarket in Nairobi. Occupancy sits around 98%, the good units never reach a public listing site, and new arrivals on a two-week house-hunting trip end up either overpaying for the first thing they see or commuting 50 minutes from the other side of the city.
We index Gigiri plus the realistic alternatives — Runda, Muthaiga, Rosslyn and Nyari — with drive times to the UN complex, and we keep direct WhatsApp lines to landlords in those blocks. When something opens, you hear about it the same week rather than after it has been let.
We are a matching service, not an estate agent: we introduce you directly to the landlord, you view and agree terms with them, and you pay them — never us. There is no tenant fee at any point.

"Everything within walking distance of the compound was gone before it was advertised. Being told about a Rosslyn unit two days before it listed is the only reason we got it."
Expect roughly KES 180,000–320,000 per month for a furnished 2-bedroom within a short drive of the complex, and KES 280,000–500,000 for a 3-bedroom in Gigiri, Runda or Nyari. Compound houses run higher. Ranges come from Knight Frank Kenya, HassConsult and Cytonn plus verified landlord submissions.
A small number of Gigiri and Rosslyn blocks are genuinely walkable to the UN gates. Most staff drive 5–15 minutes from Gigiri, Runda or Nyari, or 20–30 minutes from Westlands and Muthaiga outside peak hours.
Established Gigiri and Runda landlords are used to it and will provide a signed lease, KRA PIN and receipts in the format the subsidy scheme requires. Flag it at introduction so we only send you landlords who can produce the documentation.
In this cluster, manned 24-hour gates, perimeter walls with electric fencing, alarm response contracts and generator plus borehole backup are the norm rather than an upgrade. Confirm guard rota and alarm response provider with the landlord directly.
Six to eight weeks. Gigiri stock moves on word of mouth, so the value of starting early is being in the queue when a unit is handed back, not browsing a bigger list.
We are a matching service. We connect you directly with verified landlords. You deal with them, you view with them, and you pay them. We never hold your money, we never sign your lease, and we never manage or let property on anyone's behalf. We earn from landlords, not from tenants. No tenant fees. Ever.
This positioning is deliberate: under Kenya's Estate Agents Act (Cap 533), a pure introduction and matching service is not an estate agency practice. If anyone contacts you claiming to hold keys or take a deposit on our behalf, that is not us — report it to us immediately.
Five questions, ninety seconds, and we come back on WhatsApp with apartments that actually match.
