Yes. We arrange a live video viewing with the landlord, confirm ownership documents, and you agree terms directly with them. Most landlords will hold a unit for a short period once a deposit is paid to their own verified account.
How do I pay from abroad?
Bank transfer to the landlord's account or M-Pesa via a remittance service. Pay only to an account in the verified owner's or the registered company's name, never to an individual acting as a 'holder' or 'caretaker'.
Which areas suit returning Kenyans?
Kileleshwa and Lavington for central, established and quiet; Westlands and Kilimani for walkability and nightlife; Karen for space; Syokimau and other satellite areas for markedly lower rent if you are commuting to the airport side of town.
Should I rent before buying?
Most returnees rent for six to twelve months first. Rental yields of 8-11% across Nairobi mean prices and rents vary sharply by block, and living in an area for a season is the cheapest research you will do.
What does the 7-point verification cover?

Many premium properties in Nairobi are managed by appointed representatives or property managers. We verify their legal mandate to lease the property. However, our rule remains absolute: NO tenant fees. If an appointed representative attempts to charge you a viewing fee, a matching fee, or a tenant commission for a lead generated through our platform, report them to us immediately and they will be permanently removed from our index.
