Short-let platforms in Nairobi charge a nightly premium that makes a two-month stay absurd, and the listing photos never tell you the thing that actually matters: whether the fibre survives a power cut and whether the block has a generator that covers the apartments rather than only the lifts.
We ask landlords the boring questions before you move — fibre provider and package, generator coverage, borehole and tank capacity, desk space, and whether they will do a one or two month term. Then we introduce you directly, at the monthly rent rather than the nightly-rate markup.
We are a matching service, not an estate agent: we introduce you directly to the landlord, you view and agree terms with them, and you pay them — never us. There is no tenant fee at any point.

"Two calls with the landlord before I flew in confirmed the generator covers the units and the fibre is on a business package. That is the whole difference between working here and not."
Fibre in Kilimani, Westlands, Kileleshwa and Lavington commonly runs 30–100 Mbps on residential packages, with business packages available in most newer blocks. Nairobi's fibre coverage is among the best in the region — the variable is the building, not the city.
Newer blocks run a generator that cuts in within seconds; some only power common areas and lifts, not the apartments. Ask the landlord explicitly whether the generator feeds the unit sockets, and whether the fibre router is on backup.
A furnished 1-bedroom in Kilimani or Kileleshwa is typically KES 70,000–140,000 per month, Westlands KES 90,000–180,000. Short terms attract a premium of roughly 10–25% over a twelve-month rate.
Most short-stay remote workers arrive on a visitor eTA and work for employers outside Kenya. Rules change — check the current position with Kenyan immigration before you book a long stay. We do not give immigration advice.
Only after a live video or in-person viewing, proof of ownership, and payment to the owner's own M-Pesa or bank account. Every landlord we introduce has passed our 7-point verification and is re-checked every 90 days.
We are a matching service. We connect you directly with verified landlords. You deal with them, you view with them, and you pay them. We never hold your money, we never sign your lease, and we never manage or let property on anyone's behalf. We earn from landlords, not from tenants. No tenant fees. Ever.
This positioning is deliberate: under Kenya's Estate Agents Act (Cap 533), a pure introduction and matching service is not an estate agency practice. If anyone contacts you claiming to hold keys or take a deposit on our behalf, that is not us — report it to us immediately.
Five questions, ninety seconds, and we come back on WhatsApp with apartments that actually match.
